The first day of my Cardigan Trip was an example of Movement, which is one of the five themes of geography! It was movement because it was Hopkinton kids going from Hopkinton to Cardigan to hike. Also the counselors were from all around and they traveled to AMC lodges all over for their jobs. On the first day we got off the bus and played games with the counselors, we did this because our rooms weren't ready yet. It got really hot in all tha hiking gear, so most of us took layers off. Then we got settled into our room and we hiked up to the waterfall, and then we hung out in this cave! When we get back to the Lodge it was free time so we did games and we read cheesy children's books. Then it was dinner time and then Mr Woolner told us stories. It was an amazing day. We did one sketch on day one. It was of this beautiful cave from a different point of view.
